This may not be a “food blog” per se, but that doesn’t mean I’m not still obsessed with making and/or photographing food. After all, Seattle is a food obsessed city! Here are a couple recent shots:

Living up to its reputation, it has been raining in Seattle for days. Or, more accurately, whenever I want to go outside and take photographs. You see, “Santa” brought me a new tripod this year after my six dollar thrift store tripod finally broke. Well, I was just settling in for a long winter’s night when the rain stopped, and I ran out and took this photograph. It is the iconic view of Seattle from Queen Anne Hill. f/11, 100 ISO, 45 seconds.

Hello all. I haven’t posted in some time. Not because I haven’t been eating food or taking pictures, but because I’ve been thinking about the future of this blog. When I started it, I envisioned it as a place to explore my love of Seattle and the surrounding area, including food, as that is a big focus of my life. However, at some point, it became a “food” blog, which was not my original intention. I’m going to take advantage of the new year and refocus this blog on photography generally, with a focus on the Northwest specifically. I hope you stick around!
